About Us

A once-thriving car drifting club is making a bold comeback, fuelled by a fresh committee, a new vision, and a passion to reignite the excitement around this high-octane motorsport. After a few quiet years, the club is shifting gears and working tirelessly to rebuild its driver base, reconnect with the community, and reclaim its spot in the local motorsport scene.

The newly elected committee, made up of seasoned drifters and motorsport enthusiasts, has hit the ground running. The mission is clear: bring the club back to life, support up-and-coming drivers, and create a welcoming space for anyone passionate about drifting. Through regular meetings, social media campaigns, and community events, the team is pushing hard to raise the club’s profile and attract both spectators and participants.

Drifting, a motorsport known for sideways driving and precise car control, is as much about style as it is about skill. Drivers intentionally oversteer their vehicles through corners, maintaining control in a high-speed dance between rubber and road. It’s loud, it’s fast, and it’s addictive.

To enter a drift event, drivers need a rear-wheel-drive (or suitably modified) car, gloves, a helmet, and fireproof racewear as safety always comes first. Car scrutineering and the MMF license are also required. But more than anything, you need heart, dedication, and a willingness to learn. New drivers are welcome, and the club is especially eager to mentor fresh talent.

With practice days and local competitions in the works, the club is inviting the public to get involved, whether you’re a driver, a fan, or just curious about the sport. If the roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber gets your adrenaline pumping, now’s the perfect time to join the movement and be part of a growing motorsport discipline.
